Predicted Liverpool line-up to face Chelsea: Who starts for the Reds?

With six wins out of six in the Premier League, Liverpool have made the best-ever start in their history. Jurgen Klopp’s men continued their winning run on Saturday with a 3-0 thrashing of Southampton at Anfield.

Liverpool have arguably played the most attractive brand of football in the ongoing season and the Reds have sent a clear message to their title rivals.

Granted, the Reds outplayed Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League game but they are yet to face the big guns in the Premier League. Jurgen Klopp’s men will face their first real test of the season when they welcome Chelsea for the third round of the League Cup on Wednesday.

Virgil Van Dijk picked up a rib injury in the game against Southampton and is unlikely to feature on Wednesday. Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren continue their recovery from groin and pelvic injuries respectively.
