The March 21st episode of RAW started with the sound of a glass break and what followed was Stone Cold Steve Austin’s entrance music. Fans in attendance at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont were on their feet, cell phones in hand to record the phenomenal moment of Steve Austin coming out to the stage but what followed left everyone surprised.

Kevin Owens has been given the responsibility to single-handedly make the build-up to his segment with Austin at WrestleMania special. The 37-year-old has been doing a great job at that. He came out to Austin’s music wearing an Austin 3:16 shirt, a bald cap, jean shorts, and loosely-fitted knee braces.

Owens used Austin’s catchphrases like “Gimme a hell yeah!” and of course, the very famous “What?” and then he claimed he will embarrass the veteran at WrestleMania 38.

Owens tricked the fans once again as The Texas Rattlesnake’s music hit once again and he looked in disbelief but soon he started laughing and they understood it was another prank by Owens.

Owens said everything is done and it’s time for some beer. He asked a member of the crew to throw him the cans. Owens couldn’t catch both of them and the Chicago fans were laughing at Owens’ misery.

The former Universal Champion called the crew member to bring a can to the ring and hand it over to him. Owens took the can from him and delivered a Stunner. He ended the segment by drenching the crew member in beer.

Mick Foley is impressed by Kevin Owens’ impersonation of Steve Austin

Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mick Foley have been involved in some epic matches and their feud in 1998 was a treat for the wrestling lovers.

The Hall of Famer Mick Foley was tweeting live during this week’s episode of RAW. When Owens kicked off the show impersonating Austin, Foley was quick to voice his opinion.

The Hardcore legend expressed his love for superstars impersonating other superstars. He wrote:

MAN, I LOVE THIS TYPE OF THING! Great job by KO to open the show! #RAW@FightOwensFight

The commentators were time and again announcing this week on RAW that Austin hasn’t entered the ring in 19 years. Austin has been involved in many segments in WWE over the last 19 years. WWE is building this up as a genuine match which is a bit perplexing.
