Nia Jax is back in WWE and making a name for herself but is she related to The Rock?
Nia Jax has recently returned to WWE causing a bit of havoc, but she has some other links to the business thanks to The Rock.
The Rock is related to female WWE star Nia Jax. Jax is the second cousin of The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) as her father, Joseph, was The Rock’s grandfather’s cousin.
The Rock’s grandfather was Peter Maivia, who was a WWE legend in his own right. He is also linked to the legendary Anao’i family which has produced wrestlers such as Roman Reigns, The Usos, Rikishi, Umaga and many more.
Jax was born in Sydney, Australia but was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. The WWE star is of Samoan and German descent and earlier had a career as a plus-size model before making the move to WWE.
She signed with NXT in 2014 and trained in the Performance Center in Florida.
The WWE star made her in-ring debut on 7 May 2015 in an NXT house show and slowly made her up the ranks and into the main roster.
She won many plaudits initially for being a plus-sized WWE female star and also several titles during her first stint with WWE.
Nia Jax is a former WWE Raw Women’s Champion and was tone Women’s Tag Team title a couple of times.
However, she was released by WWE in 2021 before making her return in 2023.
Is Nia Jax married?
There always is a lot of interest in WWE stars and their personal lives, and it is no different with Nia Jax.
The former Raw Women’s Champion has done a pretty good job of keeping her personal life away from the limelight.
Nia Jax was dating former NXT star Josh Woods, but not much is known about the pair. There is no other information about Jax dating someone else, and there is no news about the WWE star being married.
There are many couples in WWE such as Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, and that leads to a lot of attention on their personal lives.
Nia Jax has stayed away from that, and it seems this has led to more speculation about who she might be dating.
