Predicted Chelsea XI to face Tottenham in the Premier League

Thomas Tuchel and his Chelsea side gear up for the London derby as they pay a visit to Tottenham. Tuchel got his first win as Chelsea boss in the previous game and will be looking to add to that tally.

Spurs, on the other hand, have been struggling with just two wins from their last five league outings. Chelsea will definitely have their tails up and might just nick this one against their former manager.

Team News

Not a lot of injuries for Thomas Tuchel to deal with. There is only the fitness of Hakim Ziyech to assess. A change in formation could be on the cards as Tuchel looks for consecutive wins.

Probable Chelsea XI

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Edouard Mendy (GK)

Mendy has kept two consecutive clean sheets now under new management.

Cesar Azpilicueta (CB)

Azpilicueta might just be coaxed into the back three for this one.

Thiago Silva (CB)

Should retain his place but given how he has been rotated on a regular basis, remains to be seen if he plays.

Antonio Rudiger (CB)

Rudiger was straightaway brought back into the mix after Tuchel took over.

Alonso made a sensational return to the side after being frozen out by Frank Lampard.

N’Golo Kante (CM)

Likely to be given a run out after his injury layoff.

Matteo Kovacic (CM)

Keeps his place in the side but might just partner with Kante this time.

Callum Hudson-Odoi (RWB)

The youngster might just have to play in a wing-back role again in case Tuchel decides to shuffle things up.

The American will be expecting a start this time around after a substitute appearance last time.

Timo Werner (LF)

Werner really needs to start finding the goals sooner rather than later.

Olivier Giroud (ST)

Tuchel could decide to alter his options up top giving Giroud a start.
