The Sword of Night and Flame can be found in a locked room in Caria Manor. Here’s a guide to show you how to get there.
You must first travel through Stormveil Castle to reach Liurnia of the Lakes. To reach the Northern Liurnia Lake Shore Site of Grace, summon your horse and ride northwest across Liurnia of the Lakes, avoiding the foes. Ride through the Kingsrealm Ruins by following the route to the northeast. To go to the Road To The Manor Site of Grace, hit the wall at the end and smash it. Return to the Main Caria Manor Gate Site of Grace at the entrance and follow the road up to the keep, make sure to use a zigzag route to escape deadly spells pouring from the sky.
Pass through the gate and follow the left wall around the corner, avoiding the hands in the ground. Continue walking until you come across a huge hand and some steps. Ascend the stairwell into the building. Continue up the stairs to the Manor Lower Level Site of Grace for a break. Then proceed to the elevated path in front of the Grace Site. Until you reach the third bridge, run past all of the opponents. Jump down to the keep below on the left hand side, due north, on the third bridge. Then hop down and down the ladder once more. Finally, there is a chest in this building that contains the Sword of Night and Flame!
Sword of Night and Flame – Benefits
The Sword of Night and Flame is fantastic because it scales extremely well with Faith and Intelligence while having relatively low requirements for Strength and Dexterity, allowing hardcore casters to wield it adequately in battle without sacrificing many points.
It also contains a weapon skill called Night-and-Flame Stance that isn’t seen anywhere else, which is a solid reason in and of itself. The weapon’s name is derived from this. When you adopt the stance, you can cast a spell and then quickly follow it up with a standard attack to start a combo or a wide flame sweep to burn enemies.
