How to Complete the Ritual in Destiny 2 – Complete Guide
Ritual mission is the 9th campaign mission, guardians can unlock the Ritual once after completing the Memories of Loss. Unlock the Ritual at the Tower. Start the challenge from Quagmire, and proceed to Savathun’s fortress. As Savathun has managed to bring the traveler to her Fortress. Defeat the enemies who trouble you, you can also hop on the sparrows to reach the fortress quickly. Once you inch closer to the Florescent Canal, you tend to meet Hive Enemies and Scorn. Fight them and move to the fortress, then you have to defeat another two wizards near the fortress, defeat and kill Lucent Lightbearer and Abomination.
Once you clear these wizards, Ikora the Warlock Vanguard comes to the spot to assist you and she opens a new path for you to enter inside the fortress. Yet again a bunch of enemies keeps spawning, defeat them and the new Lightbearer Acolyte close to the bridge. Then proceed further, you will be able to spot the Rally Banner that you really need, and you can get ability refills and ammo from there.
Next, you enter a mysterious spot, where you need to deal with some more enemies, then you will spot two floating shielded crystals along with the mighty Lightbearer Wizard. Enter the nearby rooms to deactivate these floating crystals. Proceed further and kill the Revenant Wizards and then you can open the portals. Then find the Revenant Ogre and kill him. Find three more crystals from the ground floor and break them. Find the portal room which has the hive runes.
Then proceed towards the room which has a new Void Charge for disabling the crystals of shields that guards the Lightbearer Wizard. Then defeat the mighty Lightbearer Wizard to unlock another portal. Explore the new portal in the room and a loot chest reward awaits you here.
Next move towards the rafters and you will reach the tower, and then you may entire a dark room. Take the steps and find the blue tunnel, and kill the enemies. Then look for the glowing green light and proceed to reach Savathun’s ritual.
Now commences the final battle with the powerful lady boss Savathun in an open place. There are a couple of fights with Savathun which may happen for a long time. Now the battle begins. To defeat Savathun, you can try to reduce her Health Shield initially. Use a shield, then consume your Heavy ammo to inflict further damage on her. Also, you must be tentative as Savathun may deploy all of her three superpower skills and abilities when she tackles you.
Once her health drains, Savathun will teleport and the other enemies Lightbearer Wizard, Lightbearer Acolyte, and Lightbearer Knight will appear at the spot immediately. If you successfully manage to kill these three valiant enemies, Savathun reappears once again. Kill her, but wait you are about to be Threadbound as she boasts a unique debuff. Her debuff may stop your attacks and decrease your health, so be tentative before you pass this passage. You can use an armor or health to negate her special skills and then you move on to the next phase.
Now you have to defeat Savathun’s illusions and the wizards. This time it’s not easy for you, as none of your damage will be able to defeat her. The only way to win Savathun is to tackle her illusions using the Glassbreaker buffs that are dropped as essence. Now use the glass breakers, go to the blue beam light and open a new portal. Defeat her illusions and don’t expose your health. After completing this objective, you are about to be taken on to a new path, here the traveler is also trapped by Savathun’s magic spells. Another challenging phase is awaiting your entry.
Head through the green portals, and defeat the Threadwaver enemies who spawn regularly. Use Anu Rifle or Explosives to defeat all the Threadwaver enemies and then meet Altar of Reflection to obtain a new memory, now return back to the main arena spot, and show the memory to Savathun, and she will become furious after seeing it. Now you can attack her and inflict huge damage on her, but still, she will be alive there, as you need to completely drain her health. Health is Savathun’s strength, without damaging her health shield, you can never defeat her in this battle.
Every time her health comes to a bar, you are teleported to the other arena and you need to battle the Threadwavers once again and use the Deepsight to defeat her illusions. You need to keep repeating this process and defeat all three Threadwavers enemies, reducing her health bar fully. The same set of objectives will come up again, and deploy the same strategy to defeat everyone. Repeat everything, make her health drain, as Savathun’s health must be at zero point. Kill her and complete the Ritual Mission finally. That’s how this battle ends.
