The boss fight against Zhang Liang happens near a cliff on the hill. This is also the first challenge of the “Village of Calamity” mission and you need to rescue a village by defeating Zhang Liang boss and his yellow fighters. The Deflecting mechanics is your best strategy and claim flags at the starting point to increase your health and spirit level. You can use wizardy and summon divine beasts for phase 1. Phase 1
The Zhang Liang boss has unblockable attacks and moves that you can dodge or deflect. He will use his club to unleash a series of swing attacks and two-hit combos. Deflect his moves to reduce his spirit level and health. You can use wizardy spells and melee combos to drain his energy in phase 1. The boss also has two health bars and it will be challenging to defeat him. You can invoke divine beasts and they will not be available for phase 2. Whenever the boss turns glowing red, he will unleash massive critical strikes that are hard to block, you can only Parry them.
