However, the next crop of stars are ready to make a name for themselves and Adam Cole sits firmly at the top of that list.

The 30-year-old has been exceptional on NXT and is the current champion with his stable The Undisputed Era also holding the tag team belts.

The American is known for his hard-hitting style, and that was on show against Bryan and Rollins with some ferocious kicks.

Cole also has a catchphrase, much like any top wrestler and shouts ‘Adam Cole Bay Bay’.

The NXT superstar explained on Stone Cold Steve Austin’s podcast that the phrase came up thanks to Chris Jericho and Joey Mercury (h/t WWE).

Jericho would exaggerate the word “baby” often on the mike while Mercury often said his name out loud while wrestling.

Cole also points to himself and says “Boom” before entering the ring, something the audience also gets in on.
