Haikyuu Season 5: Will the Beloved Volleyball Anime Return?


After an action-packed ending to Haikyuu season 4, viewers eagerly anticipated its fifth season. To their delight, it has been renewed but dates are not fixed for release.


Kei Tsukishima unexpectedly brought Hinata into Shiratorizawa Academy’s summer camp without his permission and appointed him ball boy. Hinata observed their practice closely and quickly noticed they used a split step that gradually crept into his own game.

The first sequel movie will likely hit theaters around late 2023 and cover its final arc from manga. All main cast members are expected to reprise their roles: Ayumu Murase as Hinata Shoyo; Koki Uchiyama will voice Kei Tsukishima and Miyu Irino will return as Koshi Sugawara respectively.

Haikyuu!! Season 4 debuted in January 2020 to critical acclaim from fans, although many predicted it would be its last outing.
