Strive is the latest installment in the Guilty Gear series, as well as one of the most highly anticipated. We all know how Guilty Gear doesn’t rely on combat, but the combat genre relies on the Guilty Gear games at one point or another. With so much action, checking out the Tier list is the first thing you should do before starting Guilty Gear Strive.
Players should note that tier lists should not be regarded as absolute facts in any fighting game. Seeing a character at the top of tier lists does not automatically imply that he or she is powerful. Character rankings in tier lists will change from person to person, making it an unreliable tool and, at times, a source of debate. So consider your personal playstyle and favorite characters while selecting the best character for you.
Guilty Gear Strive Tier List
Characters are grouped into five tiers in our Guilty Gear Strive tier list: S, A, B, C, and D, with S being the strongest and D being the weakest. The following is a list of all Guilty Gear Strive characters, sorted by their Tier ranking.
S Tier
Nagoriyuki has risen to the S tier as his players have consistently demonstrated that he is a well-rounded character with solid answers to every offensive and defensive circumstance. Sol, on the other hand, is now the game’s strongest character, with well-balanced abilities and high-damage attacks.

A Tier
While Tier S characters are the strongest, Tier A characters are superior when it comes to accessibility. Tier A characters have easier combos, making them a better choice in the early stages of the game.

B Tier
Tier B characters put your combat skills to the test because they have incredible combos, but it all depends on the players’ combat abilities. In comparison to Tier A, players will need to devote more time to mastering these characters.

C Tier
Characters in this Tier are referred to as average characters. Though you will be able to win a considerable number of games with these characters, it is recommended that you swap them or choose characters from Tiers above if you get the chance.

D Tier
We don’t recommend going below Tier C, but if you do, the difference between the two will be minimal. The creators may add more characters to Tier D in the future, but until then, choosing any of these won’t make a difference.
