The MMORPG Guild Wars 2 is getting its third expansion pack and here is all about the Eng of Dragons release date, new race, elite specialization and more
Guild Wars 2 is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by ArenaNet. It is set in the fantasy world of Tyria. The game follows Destiny’s Edge, a guild that was disbanded but has now re-emerged and fighting the Elder Dragons.
The Elder Dragons are based on the lore created by H.P. Lovecraft. The Elder Dragons have seized control of the land since the original Guild Wars.
The events of Guild Wars 2 take place 250 years after the last expansion pack, Eye of the North. The final event of Guild Wars was the defeat of the Great Destroyer. Since then, five so-called Elder Dragons sleeping beneath the continent have awoken to cause widespread destruction to Tyria and corrupt its inhabitants.
Guild Wars 2 Plot
The five Elder Dragons are Mordremoth, Kralkatorrik, Jormag, Zhaitan, and Primordus. They displaced many of the citizens of Tyria. The player has to first fight the Eldre Dragon Zhaitan. The player has to reunite the members of the Destiny’s Edge guild and defeat Zhaitan. The unification of the different races is symbolic to the game as their united strength is required to defeat the dragons.
The game has also introduced a new race of characters called the Sylvari. The Sylvari appeared 25 years before the events of Guild Wars 2. It is indicated that they have some mysterious connection to the Elder Dragons. The Sylvari have created new alliances which try to stop the player. There are three main alliances consisting of different races and monsters. They are the Molten Alliance, the Toxic Alliance and the Aetherblades.
Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons
This will be the third expansion pack for the game. The previous two were released in 2015 and 2017 which were called Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire respectively. They added whole new features with additional content for the players to enjoy.
End of Dragons will be the third expansion pack for the game. Players can pre-purchase the expansion pack right now. It costs $29.99 and is available on the game’s website. Players can enjoy the expansion when it is released in February 2022.
The expansion pack will have a new storyline and side quests for the players. They are also adding new features with this new expansion pack. A new multiplayer mount called Siege Turtle will be available. The Siege Turtle is built for two players and will be the first of its kind.
A new watercraft call Skiff is also being introduced. The players will also be able to fish, a feature which was highly requested. There are some new elite specializations for existing professions and new legendary weapons which will be introduced.
The new Expansion pack will be released in February 2022. It is available for pre-purchase right now. Fans can buy the expansion pack on the game’s website. It costs $29.99. More information about the new expansion pack and the content will be revealed in the upcoming months.
