GSW vs LAL Dream 11: Can the Lakers demolish the Warriors again?

The NBA off-season has been incredible for Los Angeles and nightmarish for the Golden State Warriors.

LeBron and co were able to nab one of the best players in Anthony Davis while the Warriors saw Kevin Durant leave for the Nets.

That would come as a major blow to any side, but the Warriors also have Klay Thompson out for a while after tearing his ACL during the NBA finals.

Klay Thompson

The Lakers should make the playoffs, but if LeBron and Davis remain healthy, they could reach the finals.

Expectations have to be lowered at the Chase Center but the Warriors still have one of the best to have graced the game in Steph Curry.

It will be interesting to see how he does without Thompson and Durant, and the playoffs hav to be the best one can hope for the Warriors.

Dream 11 Fantasy tips and predictions

This is the final pre-season game for both teams, and the pair have already faced each other three times so far.

The Lakers have beaten the Warriors in all pre-season meetings so far this season, but they will be without two key players.

ESPN’s Dave McMenamin reports that Davis and LeBron will be rested for the clash, and that would be a boost to the Warriors.

That allows a lot of flexibility to sign players for the game, however, bigname options are limited due to Thompson’s injury.

Point guards

How can Curry not be selected for any game? The Warriors are set to play with their strongest line-up and Steph should be part of the team (h/t Warriors NBA).

Stephen Curry

Quinn Cook has looked good for the Lakers during the pre-season and he gets the nod to partner Curry in this position.

Shooting guards

Damion Lee is another who has impressed during pre-season and could get a run for the Warriors in the final game.

Danny Green

Danny Green should be a no-brainer thanks to his exploits with the Toronto Raptors last season, and he could be an incredible signing for the Lakers.

Small forwards

James would have been selected for this position, but ‘The King’ is out and in comes teammate Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

Power forwards

The Lakers have several options for this position but the best option could be going with the Warriors’ Draymond Green.

Draymond Green

The Warriors star is always doing the dirty work and could pick up some points with steals, rebounds and three-pointers.

Centers

The Lakers have swapped their centers in each game and sticking with both up top makes sense. JaVale McGee will get you points but Dwight Howard is a monster on the boards.

Star player

Curry has to be the star player for the game and he is guaranteed to score a load of points.

Prediction

The Warriors have to be favourites for this clash if LeBron and Davis do not feature for the Lakers.
