The community is up in flames at the latest rounds of Genshin Impact leaks and news, sparking excitement and hope for the new Genshin characters coming to the game in the next few versions.
For now, we already have an idea of what’s to come in version 4.6 with the debut of the new Genshin Impact character, Arlecchino, the Pyro Polearm weapon user, but beyond that, we’re almost entirely out of the loop.
But as is the case with most updates, it’s no surprise that the latest Genshin leaked characters are already circulating in the community. And it is none other than clandestine & cool Clorinde Genshin.

But before we get into this, we’d like to point out that most of what we’re mentioning are Genshin leaks and speculation so they should be taken with a grain of salt. Since we’ve heard no official news of the upcoming characters like Clorinde in Genshin Impact, many of her kit’s specifics are up in the air for now.
Let’s get straight into it!
When is Clorinde Genshin Coming Out?
Based on the latest Genshin leaks, Clorinde’s Genshin Impact release date is slated to arrive in the version 4.7 update of the game. Based on the current release schedule, Genshin Impact version 4.7 should be released on June 5th, 2024 so that’s when we can expect Clorinde to debut in Genshin Impact.
We’ve already had a glimpse of Genshin Clorinde in past Archon and Story Quests so we have a good idea of her potential Vision and fighting style. Gneshin Impact Clorinde is a ‘tall female model’ similar to Raiden Shogun and Navia, adorned with a dark blue military uniform and long dark blue hair.
And if you were out of the loop on Genshin Clorinde, she’s actually the strongest Champion Duelist in Fontaine and served as Furina’s bodyguard as showcased in Furina’s character highlight trailer.
But other than that, there’s not much else we know about Clorinde Genshin. For now though, at least knowing when Clorinde will release as a playable character is big news for fans of the calm and collected character trope!

Other Potential Leaked Genshin Characters
Besides Clorinde Genshin Impact, we’ve also heard news of a few more new Genshin characters entering the fray in the version 4.7 update. According to a notable Genshin and MiHoYo leaker, hxg_diluc, Genshin Impact 4.7 may see 3 new characters added to the game.
This includes Clorinde, a rumored 5-star Gneshin character, Sigewinne, another 5-star character, and Sethos, a new 4-star character we’ve only seen in a special program released earlier in April.
Again, as of now, information on the character’s abilities and playstyle are limited since no one has seen them in action and developers MiHoYo have yet to release an official statement or materials on these characters.
But from what we do know, we can speculate that Sigewinne is set to be a Hydro healer character and Sethos will be an Electro DPS or sub-DPS character.
In terms of release, we expect that Clorinde and Sethos Genshin will be available at the same time in Phase 1 of the 4.7 banners, with Sigewinne starring in Phase 2 of the 4.7 banner availability.
And if you’ve been playing Genshin Impact for a while now, you’ll know how rare it is for the game to introduce three new characters in one update cycle. Not to mention bringing in two new 5-star characters for players to try out.
Considering that we’re reaching the end of the 4.0 update cycle and moving on to 5.0 with a brand-new map and area, Natlan later in the year, it’s no surprise devs are trying to push out as much as they can to prepare players for new challenges.
For now, it’s still speculation, but it’s becoming more and more of a reality as the weeks go on.
Overview of Genshin Clorinde – Vision, Abilities, & Weapon Type
All that said, how much do we really know about Clorinde in Genshin Impact? What weapon does Clorinde use, does Genshin Impact Clorinde have a useable gun, and what Vision does Clorinde use?
One thing we know for sure is that Clorinde Genshin has the Electro Vision, so she deals deadly lightning damage and is set to be an Electro-charged DPS character. We’ve seen her in action during the Archon Quest cutscenes and you can also see her Vision engraved on her brooch.
Alongside her ‘Vision’, we also have seen she opts for a sword as her weapon of choice, so it’s almost a sure bet that Clroinde’s weapon will be the sword archetype similar to Furina, Kazuha, and the Traveler.
Clorinde Genshin is seen holding and using the ‘Iron Sting’ sword in a trailer, which adds to the validity of her being a sword user.
But another piece of weaponry that is often associated with Genshin Impact Clorinde is her pistol.
For now, we’re not sure in what way Clorinde’s gun could be implemented into her abilities and kit, but if she does have a gun as an additional attack or somewhere in her ultimate, she will officially be the first character in Genshin Impact to brandish a firearm!
But as we mentioned at the start of this article, we’re not sure about too much Clorinde in Genshin Impact, and even less about the two new speculated characters appearing in the 4.7 version of the game.
The good news is we’re not too far off from devs starting their drip marketing for Ver 4.7 as soon as 4.6 releases later this month. Fingers crossed Clorinde is as powerful and fun to play as we’re all hoping she is!
