The ancient god Decarabian’s abandoned tower was the destination of Dvalin’s recovery after he was severely injured during the cataclysm five hundred years ago during a battle with the corrupted black dragon Durin.

How to find Stormterror Dvalin

In order to locate Stormterror Dvalin, players must first raise their Adventure Rank to level 18. Due to the fact that Stormterror is an integral part of the main quest, players must reach a certain level to access their associated quest line. When players reach level 18, they will have a marker on their map pointing them toward Stormterror’s lair once they pick up his quest line.

In Stormterror’s lair, players will find a large temple, which is totally engulfed in a barrier. As this barrier cannot be penetrated, players will need to use their gliding and platforming skills to get around it. Players will be able to glide around the temple using nearby wind currents until they reach the inside of the temple. Players are then told to pick up three crystals so a nearby switch can be activated.

Throughout the area, players will have three more switches to activate, each requiring three crystals to activate. However, this isn’t as easy as it sounds, as each switch is surrounded by multiple enemies that need to be cleared out in order to be activated. If players want to survive, they must stay on their toes as this massive dragon-like creature can deal an insane amount of damage. Once they begin the fight, they will be warned that Stormterror is a level 26 boss. To make this fight as easy as possible, players should have at least a level 26 party, but preferably more.

It is also important for players to bring certain characters into this fight so that it will be easier for them. Because Stormterror spends a lot of time flying around the arena, ranged attackers are ideal. It will also help players deal damage without getting hurt themselves. In the first part of the Stormterror battle, players will take control of the main character while flying through the air after the dragon, shooting energy at its weak spots. Players need to dodge laser beams from Stormterror once they have destroyed the first crystal. They do not deal much damage on their own, but over time they can add up to a great deal of damage.

In order to open rings that boost speed, players must shoot Anemo crystals in the air to open the rings that will allow Stormterror to fly far away after each weak point is destroyed.
