Barbara is a 4-star catalyst user in Genshin Impact. Barbara is a self-proclaimed idol who is adored by all of Mondstadt’s residents. She occasionally feels inferior to her older sister, Jean, and aspires to one day surpass her in popularity, intelligence, or some other aspect of life. Barbara’s Elemental Burst, Shining Miracle, is a powerful burst that heals your entire party’s HP enormously. Barbara’s Max HP scales with this talent. This is an excellent emergency heal, and it’s advisable to have it on hand before embarking on tough activities.

Despite being locked behind her 6th Constellation, Barbara’s auto revive ability alone makes her a good choice for high-level Spiral Abyss or Weekly Bosses. Strengths

High healing output.
Elemental skill can burst heal or heal over time.
Can auto revive characters at C6.

Weaknesses

Low Base DMG and HP.

Barbara Talents

Whisper of Water (Normal Attack)

Normal Attack – Perform up to 4 water splashes attacks that deal Hydro DMG.

Charged Attack – Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to deal AoE Hydro DMG after a short casting time.

Plunging attack – Gathering the might of Hydro, Barbara plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all enemies in her path. Deals AoE Hydro DMG upon impact with the ground.

Let the Show Begin (Elemental Skill)

Summons water droplets resembling musical notes that form a Melody Loop, dealing Hydro DMG to surrounding enemies and afflicting them with the Wet status.

Melody Loop

Barbara’s Normal Attacks heal all party members and nearby allied characters for a certain amount of HP, which scales with Barbara’s Max HP.
Her Charged Attack generates 4 times the amount of healing.
Regenerates a certain amount of the current character’s HP at regular intervals.
Applies the Wet status to the character and enemies who come in contact with them.

Shining Miracle (Elemental Burst)

Heals friendly forces and all parties for a large amount of HP that scales with Barbara’s Max HP.

With My Whole Heart (Unlocked Automatically)

When a Perfect Cooking is achieved on a dish with restorative effects, there is a 12% chance to obtain double the product.

Glorious Season (Unlocked at Ascension 1)

The Stamina Consumption of characters within Let the Show Begin’s Melody Loop is reduced by 12%.

Encore (Unlocked at Ascension 4)

When a character gains an Elemental Orb/Particle, the duration of Let the Show Begin’s Melody Loop is extended by 1s. The maximum extension is 5s.

Best Weapons Build for Barbara

1. Prototype Amber

Base Attack: 42

Bonus Effect: HP 10.0%

Skill Effect – Using an Elemental Burst regenerates 4 Energy every 2s for 6s. Additionally, all party members will regenerate 4% HP every 2s for this duration.

2. Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers

Base Attack: 39

Bonus Effect: HP 7.7%

Skill Effect – When switching characters, the new character taking the field has their ATK increased by 24% for 10s. This effect can only occur once every 20s.

3. Favonius Codex

Base Attack: 42

Bonus Effect: Energy Recharge 10%

Skill Effect – CRIT Hits have a 60% chance to generate a small amount of Elemental Particles, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only occur once every 12s.

Best Artifact Build for Barbara

1. Maiden Beloved

Character Healing Effectiveness +15%.
Using an Elemental Skill or Burst increases healing received by all party members by 20% for 10s.

2. Ocean-Hued Clam

Healing Bonus +15%
When the character with this artifact set heals a party member, 1 Foam will appear. It accumulates healed HP for 3 seconds, then explodes and deals 90% of the HP healed as DMG to nearby enemies. Max accumulated healing is 30,000 HP, including over-heal. There can only be 1 Foam active, but it stays even if you swap out. Foam CD is 3.5s.

3. The Exile

Energy Recharge +20%
Using an Elemental Burst regenerates 2 Energy for all party members (excluding the wearer) every 2s for 6s. This effect cannot stack.

Barbara Constellation – Crater

1. Gleeful Songs (Constellation 1)

Barbara regenerates 1 Energy every 10s.

2. Vitality Burst (Constellation 2)

Decreases the CD of Let the Show Begin by 15%. During the ability’s duration, the current character gains 15% Hydro DMG Bonus.

3. Star of Tomorrow (Constellation 3)

Increases the Level of Shining Miracle by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.

4. Attentiveness be My Power (Constellation 4)

Every enemy hit by Barbara’s Charged Attack regenerates 1 Energy for her. A maximum of 5 energy can be regenerated in this manner with any one Charged Attack.

5. The Purest Copanionship (Constellation 5)

Increase the Level of Let the Show Begin by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.

6. Dedicating Everything to you (Constellation 6)

When Barbara is not on the field, and the character in play falls:

Automatically revives this character.
Fully regenerates this characters HP by 100%.

This effect can only occur once every 15 mins.
