An Eye for An Eye is the second sub-quest under the main world quest. This quest will start once you leave the Fortress of Meropide. For a major part of this quest, you have to defeat waves of Gardemeks enemies.
You will travel along with NPCs like Caterpillar, Estienne and Lanoire. The major task is to activate the research terminal and you have to complete this at the end. Genshin Impact An Eye for an Eye Quest Guide & Tips!
There’s a tricky situation in the Fortress of Meropide. You have to rescue Lanoire and other members immediately. As soon as you prepare to leave, the Gardemeks will arrive. Start slaying these enemies and progress further.
Next, you have to reach the Waypoint. Teleport to the Waypoint and descend down to the lower level. You have to slowly walk and reach the Abandoned Production Zone without getting noticed. There will be some guards standing beside the walls.
Distract Enemies
You can use quest items like Loudspeaker and Searchlight. These items can be found near Elevator. Activate it and use the glowing shine effects to distract enemies. Also, use loudspeakers to disturb them. Also, have some ranged weapons in your bags to overcome these enemies.
After you reach the Abandoned Production Zone, activate the mechanism to reach the next stop. You have to carefully operate the drive valve and this will also unlock the passage to the Geode Mine Shaft. Here, you have to collect the Energy Storage device.
An Energy Storage device is required to open the research terminal. But before that you have to activate the Gear Drivetrain on a Drive Valve. Finally you can reach the Geode Mine Shaft through the tunnels. Interact with Caterpillar and Lanoire again before unlocking the research terminal. Here, you have to destroy the seals of three energy terminals.
Once you are done with everything, Noailles enemies will arrive. Defeat these enemies and complete the entire questline. After completing the quest, ‘An Eye for an Eye’, the final quest , ‘Hereafter’ in Genshin Impact 4.1 will be unlocked. With ‘Hereafter’, you will be done with the Unfinished Comedy world quest series.
