Genshin Impact has officially revealed the new characters that will be released as early as version 2.7. Here is everything we know so far.
Travelers will be able to unlock two new characters and loads of fresh content in Genshin Impact Version 2.7. While Ayato will be released in the 2.6 update, as well as the long-awaited release of The Chasm, HoYoverse still has a lot of surprises in their bag. A few tidbits about the upcoming new characters Yelan and Kuki Shinobu have been provided by the official Genshin Impact Twitter account.
With this official tweet, it’s very likely that Yelan and Kuki Shinobu will appear on Genshin Impact’s 2.7 banners. They have yet to reveal any other details on their skills, weapon kinds, or, most significantly, their release dates. Fortunately, some crucial information about the next characters has already been leaked by leakers.
Genshin Impact 2.7 characters – Yelan
Yelan possesses a Hydro vision, which she uses to crush her enemies, according to HoYoverse. Early datamines indicate that Yelan will use a Bow, and leaked renders of Yelan back this up.

Genshin Impact 2.7 characters – Kuki Shinobu
Kuki Shinobu is the Arataki Gang’s Deputy Leader, according to HoYoverse. This Electro sword wielder is frequently in charge of curbing Itto’s pranks. She is known as the Mender of Tribulations for her extraordinary diplomatic abilities as the Arataki Gang’s deputy leader. Kujou Sara also praises Kuki Shinobu as a gifted individual. Her playstyle is still unknown, however, based on Kuki Shinobu’s drip marketing image, she could very likely be a Sword user.
Genshin Impact 2.7 characters – Release Date
Yelan will be released in the first half of the 2.7 update, according to known Genshin Impact leaker Lumie. When the update goes live on May 11, 2022, Travelers will most likely be able to spend their Primogems on her banner.
Kuki Shinobu is expected to be released in the second part of the 2.7 update, which is expected to release on June 1, 2022. Unlike Yelan, she is a 4-star character according to the latest Genshin Impact leaks.
