Leeds United vs Millwall predictions: Leeds United Line-up

Leeds United will resume their Championship duties on Saturday as they welcome Millwall to the Elland Road.

Marcelo Bielsa has been a massive hit at Leeds since taking the reins last summer, with the Whites third in the Championship and well in the hunt for Premier League promotion. But he’ll have to pick up his team and prepare them well for the Millwall visit after the Whites fell to a 1-0 defeat against Sheffield United.

As for Millwall, they have won just once in their last five games and are pure underdogs in Saturday’s game.

Team News

Pontuss Jansson is sidelined with a knee injury sustained during the defeat to Sheffield United. He will be out for a couple of weeks. Kemar Roofe is nearing the end of his recovery from the knee ligaments injury.

Goalkeeper Kiko Casilla will serve a one-match ban following his red card against Sheffield United.

Luke Ayling (RB)

Ayling is Leeds’ first-choice at right-back and he is expected to start this game against Millwall.

Gaetano Berardi (CB)

Berardi has played very little this season and he will be looking to take utmost advantage of Jansson’s injury and nail down a place in the team.

A leader at the back, Cooper’s defensive know-how and experience warrants a place in the team.

Ezgjan Alioski (LB)

Alioski has nailed down his place at left-back and will start on Saturday.

Kalvin Phillips (CDM)

Phillips has been a top player under Bielsa, controlling the tempo of games from a deeper role in midfield.

Pablo Hernandez

Pablo Hernandez (RM)

Hernandez is Leeds’ most potent attacker as he possesses the vision and creativity to split open defences.

Tyler Roberts (RCM)

Roberts has impressed this season with three goals and as many assists. He is likely to keep his place in the team.

Mateusz Klich (LCM)

Klich brings a lot of energy and dynamism to the Whites midfield, making the team tick all over.

Patrick Bamford

Jack Harrison (LM)

Harrison will need to get involved more in the final third to hurt Millwall at the weekend. He will start on the left flank.
