- 90s – This is a popular term. 90s in Fortnite means players are skilful in reaching building’s top level quickly. Again, 90s indicates a player’s skills in turning 90 degrees vertically and to complete this action, you have to make use of walls, floors, and a ramp as well.
- Cracked – Cracked is another popular vocabulary in Fortnite dictionary. There are two terms for this word. Once a player has successfully broken an enemy’s shield, there will be a cracking noise. This is one meaning and the other meaning for Cracking denoted players in Fortnite who are highly talented and known for their shrewdness during battles
- One Shot – One Shot, this slang will be used frequently during duo or other squad based Fortnite battles. You can spot opponents hiding behind structures, buildings or even trees. Whenever they are out of health and shield, you can use this term called ‘One Shot’. This is literally a trick to indicate your teammates that the enemy is just a shot away from getting killed

- Pyramid – The roof near buildings and structures look like a Pyramid. Players use the term Pyramid to alert their friends whenever enemies spawn in these roof locations
- Sweat – Sweat in Fortnite indicates a player’s dedication and skills. If one is an extremely talented player, you can say he or she is a Sweat
- Heal – If you are out of health points during battles, use the phrase Heal
- Meds – If you run out of bandages, shields, or medical kits, use the term “Meds”
- Turtling – This term refers to Fortnite players who change their strategies. Players who run out of hp and don’t have a shield will change their tactics, you can call it as Turtling
