As McLaren boss Zak Brown turned 51, Formula One’s official handle took to Twitter to wish him a very happy birthday. However, the thread has been flooded with troll comments and criticism by F1 fans. Brown has recently been under for a few of his decisions while at the helm of McLaren.
A certain section of the McLaren fan base is quite displeased with Brown’s decision to replace veteran driver Daniel Ricciardo next season. To make matters worse, Brown recently accused Red Bull CEO Christian Horner of cheating and that hasn’t gone down too well in the F1 fraternity.
