Hannah Goldy isn’t looking to call out other fighters and is friends with most of them

Hannah Goldy was on the Casual Fanboy MMA Podcast and provided a unique perspective into the world of MMA fighters.

While most of the stars are always calling others out for fights or criticising opponents and looking to get an edge.

Goldy was the opposite as she spoke about her love for ice-cream, Ben and Jerry’s in particular, and how she likes everyone she fights.

The 5-1 star lost her previous fight to Miranda Granger but she wasn’t looking at a specific rival to take on next. She claimed that she would take any fight that the UFC provides but she was recovering from a shoulder injury.

Goldy was asked what she would do if she went up against Joanna Jedrzejczyk, a UFC legend, and her mind games.

However, Goldy had a different way to deal with Jedrzejczyk:

“I’ll probably just like smile and laugh. I ended up being friends with a girl like after [a fight]. For some reason when I fought her, all of the girls from her gym didn’t like me.”

Goldy revealed that could have been due to her amateur background and having a lot of hype behind her.

“Girls thought I was cocky because of that but in reality, it was other people talking. I never underestimated any of my opponents. I always say, every single fight I have had, I have treated them like I was fighting Joanna.”

Don’t call out people

Goldy might be one of the few stars that doesn’t call out anyone. She added that she was to face Loma Lookboonmee but that fight was cancelled.

The UFC star had another fight planned but that depends on her shoulder healing in time. Goldy added that she had dislocated her shoulder and tore some muscles.

The rehab had been going well and she isn’t keen on undergoing surgery to fix her injury. Goldy finished by saying that she doesn’t really hate anyone and didn’t need to if she wanted to fight them either.
