You may find out all you need to know about Poppy Harlow’s whereabouts and her status as a retiree right here.

As a result of co-anchor Don Lemon’s insensitive remarks on CNN This Morning on Thursday, February 16, Poppy Harlow allegedly departed the CNN set. The discussion among the anchors focused on Nikki Haley’s assertion that lawmakers over 75 should undergo “mental competence testing.” Lemon disagreed, basically branding the recently declared Republican presidential contender as a hypocrite since she is “not in her prime” herself.

According to one of the sources, Harlow took a “well-timed” toilet break and was followed into the room by co-host Kaitlan Collins, who had just had an altercation with Lemon. The insider said, “The tension between Lemon, Collins, and Harlow has been burning for months.”

Thirty employees quizzed Licht about the network’s poor ratings at an unofficial meeting on Thursday called “Coffee with Chris.” One reportedly inquired about Lemon’s remarks against Haley, 51, the source said. The source quoted Licht as saying, “People say stupid things and that if it’s a trend, then there’s recourse.” Requests for comment from CNN did not immediately get a response. A response from Lemon was not forthcoming.

What transpired between Don Lemon and Poppy Harlow?

The 40-year-old Harlow returned to continue Thursday’s show, but she had seemed surprised when Lemon launched into his rambling, illogical tirade over Haley’s request for mental competence testing for legislators over the age of 75.

The discussion of Haley’s age, 51, “makes me uncomfortable overall,” remarked Lemon, 56. “In my opinion, this is the incorrect path to take. Everybody, she claims, even politicians, are now abruptly beyond their prime. Nikki Haley isn’t at her best right now. Unfortunately, in her 20s, 30s, and maybe 40s when she is at her best.

Kaitlan Collins, another co-host, 30, and Harlow, 40, both questioned his intended meaning. When Harlow questioned if he understood those ages to be the peak “child-bearing” years, he was met with contempt and shock. Lemon then changed his position and said, without citing anybody, “don’t shoot the messenger.” He corrected himself by saying that, according to Google, women are regarded to be “in their prime” in their 20s, 30s, and 40s.

Lemon apologized in public after facing intense internal and online outrage. “The reference I made to a woman’s ‘prime’ this morning was inartful and irrelevant, as colleagues and loved ones have pointed out, and I regret it. A woman’s age doesn’t define her either personally or professionally. I have countless women in my life who prove that every day.”

The New York Post claims that Collins, who has also clashed with Lemon in the past, accompanied Harlow as she left the set for a “well-timed” toilet break after the heated discussion. He yelled at her on television in December for interrupting him. After today’s conflict, a source informed the publication that while new CEO Chris Licht has not intervened, problems between the three have “been simmering for months” at the network.
