NSYNC is comprised of Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass. The group reunited to bestow the Best Pop award on Taylor Swift. Their reunion was widely celebrated by fans, along with star Taylor Siwft, who was so excited about their return.
After accepting the award, Taylor asked the group if they were going to do something and what was going to happen. Taylor said, “You guys are pop personified, so to receive this from your golden pop hands is really too much.”
They did not perform at the award show, but they came together to give the Best Pop award to Taylor Swift.
What happened to NSync?
NSYNC was one of the biggest blues bands of the late 90s and 2000s, but they parted ways in the early 2000s. The band was widely appreciated by the audience, and people did not expect them to break up.
The band decided to break up because Justin Timberlake wanted to embark on his solo career as an artist. However, Joey Fantone, a band member, stated that the group was supposed to get back together after Timberlake’s career took off, but that could not happen as the record label initiated Justin upon continuing as a solo artist.
NYSNC did not announce their split as a band officially, and that left fans speculating about the reason for parting ways. However, it was very clear that Justin’s embarking on his solo career as an artist played a crucial role.
The other members of the band were unsure of the future after Justin went his own way, which is why they parted ways. In 2007, Lance Bass wrote his book Out of Sync, in which he stated that Timberlake thought that nobody was working in the first instance if the group and everyone had started doing something on their own, and that was also one of the reasons for parting ways. The boy band was extremely popular and is still loved by fans.
