Chelsea have always been a team stacked full of star-studded names capable of tearing even the best teams in the world apart on their day. Since the big-money takeover of this famous London club by Russian Oligarch, they have been transformed into a European superpower.
He has brought new life to his ambitious Chelsea side by signing some amazing players through the transfer market over the years. Some legends of the game of football have also graced the Stamford Bridge pitch in the blue of Chelsea including Michael Ballack, Deco, Didier Drogba and even Andriy Shevchenko.
Over the last couple of seasons though, despite having a fairly strong team on paper, they have struggled to get into any kind of flow which has seriously deterred their fans’ massive expectations. Delving into the transfer market is certainly the best way to go about this.
Maurizio Sarri hasn’t shown himself in the best light over the last many months and Chelsea will have to strengthen in the summer.
They have been linked with many players but the most important signings for them have to be those of Mauro Icardi and Nicolo Barella as suggested by The Sun and Daily Mail respectively.

Signed for the highest fee ever paid for a goalkeeper, the Spaniard has been fairly solid which will assure that he keeps his place.

The Spaniard is the captain of the side on the pitch and is an important voice in the dressing room and hence will keep his spot.
RCB – Antonio Rudiger
The German international centre-half has been a rock at the back for the Blues at times this season and that’s how it’s going to stay
LCB – Andreas Christensen
With David Luiz already over the 30, next season would be the perfect time to promote the talented Dane to the starting XI
LB – Emerson Palmieri
The Brazilian full-back has proven time and again this season that he is a much more dependable presence than Marcos Alonso
RCM – N’Golo Kante
The French World Cup winner is Chelsea’s most vital player and his presence is certain to fill the defence with a glimmer of confidence.
CM – Jorginho
Brought in by Sarri to function as the commander of this Chelsea side, expect the Italian to keep his place in the middle of the park.
LCM – Nicolo Barella
The Italian midfielder could be the perfect player to take over this midfield role that has been calling out for a master-passer since Cesc Fabregas left to Monaco.
RW – Christian Pulisic
The Borussia Dortmund man has already been signed by the Blues and it’s just a matter of time before he makes a place for himself in the side.
ST – Mauro Icardi
The Argentine forward has had his fair share of problems at Inter Milan and Chelsea could be the perfect outlet for this talented talisman.
