A brand-new Diablo 4 gameplay video showcases those new features, as well as the open world, strongholds, and other features of the game. Diablo 4 features nonlinear character progression, allowing for open-ended customizing that continues through the endgame in Nightmare Dungeons, dedicated PvP zones, and Paragon Boards.

In the fourth installment of the Diablo series, Blizzard introduces a new playable class – the Necromancer. A necromancer is a legendary character that summons (and commands) the undead to battle. The Diablo 4 game will let you play as Barbarians, Druids, Rogue, and Sorceresses. Blizzard says players will also be able to choose their skill trees for each of these classes.

As you journey across Sanctuary, you’ll encounter mountain ranges, canyons, plague lands, and other biomes built specifically for combat in Diablo 4. As with Diablo’s previous installments, Diablo 4 will feature top-down action as gamers battle Lilith, Queen of the Succubi, and the Daughter of Hatred. Diablo 4 features almost 150 dungeons, with almost 150 strongholds that her minions have captured in Sanctuary. These strongholds can be cleared out to gain access to new dungeons.
