The net worth of the former team principal of Williams Racing is said to be around $20 million. She was with the team for more than 17 years and that has majorly contributed to her net worth. However, as per her salary with the team, there have been no revelations made. Claire left the Williams Racing team back in September 2020.

Claire Williams Career

Claire graduated from Newcastle University in 1999 with a political degree. Three years later she joined her father Frank William’s racing team (Williams) in 2002. She became the communications officer of the team.

Later in 2010, she was promoted to the head of communications for the Williams team. Just a year later in 2011, Claire was appointed as the director of marketing and communications for the team. Her father Frank Williams stepped down from the position of Williams family representative on the team board. He was replaced by his daughter Claire In 2013.

Just after a year Claire was appointed as the deputy team principal for the Williams Racing team in 2013. She also continued with her marketing and communications duty for the team. The Williams family later decided to sell the team to Dorilton Capital in August 2020. However, Claire continued to be the team principal.

Shortly after in September 2020, it was announced that Claire is stepping down from the position of deputy team principal. This marked the official exit of the William family from their team Williams Racing.

It was revealed that despite the team’s struggle the new owners wanted her to stay but Claire decided to quit. She said that she has to keep the team first as the family has always done. According to her, she was mentally exhausted after being with the team for so long and that it was best for the team to have a fresh start.

Claire was born on 21st July 1976 in Windsor, Berkshire, England to Sir Frank Williams and late Virginia Berry. Her father is a legendary figure in the racing world. He was a racer himself and then founded the Williams Racing team. Claire did her graduation from Newcastle University. Right after graduation, she joined the Silverstone racing circuit as a press officer.
