Chyna Net Worth and Salary
Chyna had a net worth of $1.5 million, and since she had retired from WWE, there was apparently no such salary. So instead, she used to earn from modeling and also by appearing in movies.
Chyna Career
Laurer has been considered the most influential women wrestler and one of the biggest stars of WWF’s Attitude Era. Iconic commentator Jim Ross described Chyna as “The distinctive athlete was to WWE what Ronda Rousey has been it UFC.”
Laurer started her wrestling career against a male wrestler dressed as a woman. She met WWF performers HHH and Shawn Michaels after a pro-wrestling show in 1996.
They decided to bring her into WWF as a bodyguard, but Vince didn’t want her to join; she was also approached by WCW to be a member of the New World Order. Laurer turned down this offer as she got hired by WWF.
As a bodyguard for D-generation X, Chyna made her debut for WWF on February 16, 1997, founded by Shawn Michaels and Triple H.
Chyna became the first woman to qualify for the King of the Ring tournament. She was also the first woman to be the number one contender for the WWF Championship.
She defeated Jarrett at No Mercy to become the first and only woman to win the Intercontinental Champion. Laurer then had a feud with Chris Jericho but ended up beating him at Survivor Series.
When they teamed up together, Chyna and Eddie Guerrero became a thing in WWE, but they split in November after Chyna found Eddie with two other women in the shower.
Laurer won the WWF Women’s Championship against Ivory at WrestleMania XVII in a squash match, but soon, she left WWF and vacated the title. She was inducted into the Hall of Fame as a member of the DX-Generation in 2019.
Chyna has later gone on to play for independent circuits like New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2002, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in 2011, where she made her name.
Laurer also appeared for several adult films and other Television shows like “The Howard Stern Show in 2000 and was a presentation at MTV Video Music Awards.

Laurer was born in Rochester, New York, on December 27, 1969. Her parents got divorced when she was just 4 years old. She had three different stepfathers and one stepmother.
She dated HHH from 1996 till 2000 and Sean Waltman from 2003-2005. HHH and Laurer broke up due to the latter’s addictions and mental health problems. Laurer also got arrested for domestic assault on her next boyfriend, Sean Waltman.
Chyna was found dead at her home in Redondo Beach on April 20, 2016. At that time, she was 46 years old. Many claim that she died due to a drug overdose, but it can also be a natural cause.
