German qualifier Nicolas Jarry locks horns with Nicolas Jarry in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Chile Open on Friday.
The 27-year-old has been in good form as of late. He has reached consecutive quarterfinals. The Munich-born player couldn’t make it to the main draw of the Rio Open but has managed to do so in Chile with some scintillating performances. Hanfmann beat another Spaniard, Roberto Carballes Baena in the round of 16. The first set was tight but Hanfmann bagged it in the tiebreak. The second set saw the 31-year-old dominate Carballes Baena as the former eventually won the match 7-6 (8-6), 6-2.
