“Can I have the 50 piece” – When Giannis Antetokounmpo broke the internet with his crazy Chick-Fil-A order

A video clip of Giannis Antetokounmpo placing his order at Chick-Fil-A has resurfaced on social media.

Before the 2020–21 NBA NBA Finals run with the Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo was already a likeable character. However, over the past several years, has seen his star power soar to unprecedented heights. His Chick-Fil-A purchase from a year ago simply serves to support that idea.

The Greek Freak placed a 50-piece order at his neighbourhood Chick-Fil-A not long after dumping a 50-piece on the Phoenix Suns to finish off Game 6 of the Final series of the NBA 2020-21 Season. And not just any 50-piece, but 50 of the Chick-Fil-A minis, which, according to the Chick-Fil-A website, are the Chick-Fil-A nuggets in sandwich shape, “sitting within a warm yeast bun delicately dusted with honey butter spread. Folks, this is carbo-loading like we’ve never seen before.

Pay particular attention to Giannis’ order since he makes it plain that he wants 50 Chick-Fil-A minis, not 49 or 51. That drink selection is also superior.

The 2021 NBA Finals MVP pulled up to the drive-through and, in his trademark charming style, asked the Chick-fil-A order taker whether she was ok being filmed in front of 150,000 Instagram live viewers. He placed his enormous food order after getting her approval.

How could anyone not adore this man? What if he initially asked her respectfully whether she wanted to be on camera before casually mentioning that 150,000 people were watching her? The fact that she appears to have no idea who he is, incidentally, only makes the whole situation more wonderful.

The drink order should be talked about, celebrated, and maybe inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. No ice, half lemonade, half Sprite. What are we doing here if it isn’t a brand-new beverage on every fast food menu by tomorrow, ideally called “The Giannis”?

Antetokounmpo ordered a massive 4,500-calorie breakfast from the Milwaukee Chick-fil-A store, which has 360 calories per four-piece meal. How can an NBA great down such a large dinner after giving the best performance of his career?

Don’t feel guilty if you want to reward yourself with your favourite fast food dish the next time you have a successful day at work. Antetokounmpo accomplished it and won our admiration.
