Best Clash of Clans TH14 War Base Tips and Tricks

published

Mastering a CoC TH14 war base requires more than just skill. It demands an understanding of the latest updates, and a strategic approach to defensive capabilities.

Darian claims in Supercell’s Town Hall 14 Dev Update video that indigenous Mesoamerican architecture served as an inspiration for the Town Hall’s design, new structures, and buildings with upgraded levels.

Unlike the other two versions of the Town Hall weapon, the Giga Inferno does not detonate when used alone; instead, it is mostly a ball of energy that is summoned on top of the Town Hall. This is introduced in Town Hall 14. Given that Dark Elixir is the source of power for Inferno Towers and the component for Poison Spells, it is possible that the container contains the materials for a Poison Spell. When triggered, this spell would produce an explosion and a cloud of poison, both of which are effects of Dark Elixir.

Since just the Poison Bomb is updated in CoC TH14 War Base, and the upgrades aren’t as substantial as those in Town Hall 13, the Giga Inferno upgrade costs less in Town Hall 14. Your enemies will feel like mushy marshmallows attempting to tackle a campfire in the Giga Inferno. With its latest enhancements, it may now damage and slow down adjacent opponents with a toxic cloud that it releases upon destruction.

Tips and Tricks for CoC TH14 War Base

  • Inferno Towers are multi-targeting, but Giga Infernos are more dangerous. Your warriors can prevent Giga Inferno damage using Freeze.
  • Giants, Balloons, and Golems can attack the Town Hall if the Giga Inferno is active, weakening defense.
  • Earthquake Spells can ignite the Giga Inferno, allowing defense-targeting soldiers like Balloons to attack the Town Hall. When soldiers are near Town Hall, this reduces Giga Inferno firetime.
  • Flame flingers can kill it after the earthquake spell with damage, fire spirit effect, and mega inferno outrangement. It is sluggish and battle building can quickly repair damage if not taken out first.
  • Giga Inferno, like the multi-target Inferno Tower and Giga Tesla, cannot do full damage to one target. Queen Charges can demolish Town Hall without fortifications if Healers remain away. Higher-level Giga Infernos can harm more than Healers can heal, requiring a Rage Spell.
  • Bowlers, Balloons, and greater warriors and heroes can die in Giga Inferno. The Grand Warden’s Eternal Tome mitigates explosive damage but not poison.
  • The Tome protects your troops from the blast, but the poison lasts and damages them. Thus, demolish the Town Hall early in the war with a hero or siege machine to rescue most of your troops.
  • A freeze spell doesn’t reduce the Giga Inferno’s deadly explosion and poison.
  • Though massive, the explosion radius is smaller than the Giga Inferno. Long-range troops like the Archer Queen can evade the Town Hall blast by avoiding it before it explodes.
  • A Battle Blimp or Wall Wrecker carrying high-damage Clan Castle warriors like P.E.K.K.Valkyries or balloons can attack the Town Hall as the army clears anti 2-star bases’ vast empty spaces. Grand Warden’s skill on the Eagle Artillery can be useful as the Siege Machine will likely target Clan Castle troops when destroying the Town Hall.
