Sting to make his in-ring AEW debut at Double or Nothing with Darby Allin

It has been a few months since Sting broke the internet after making his first appearance on AEW at AEW: Winter is Coming.

And since then, ‘The Stinger’ has made various appearances on AEW with and without Darby Allin, the AEW talent that he has formed an alliance with.

But that role has, until now, been restricted to him being ringside. However, AEW fans will finally get to see him fight inside the ring in his first official in-ring match at AEW at Double or Nothing.

The PPV takes place on 30th May 2021 and already has an exciting list of matches lined up, with Miro vs Lance Archer, and Pac vs Kenny Omega vs Orange Cassidy already confirmed.

Sting and Allin, who have been allies on the show, will take part in a tag team match against Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page.

Allin had a simple reaction to the news of the match being confirmed. The 28-year-old posted a devil emoji followed by a poster that showcases the 4 wrestlers.

Recently, Sting was ringside with Darby Allin as his protege aimed to secure his TNT championship against Miro.

Allin was down and out and Sting motivated him all he could, but Miro proved to be too strong at the end of the day and went on to win his maiden AEW title.

Miro now faces Lance Archer in the first defence of his TNT title while Allin and Sting have a match of their own to worry about.

Page and Sky have been in an alliance since the 29th March episode of Dynamite. It would be interesting to see if AEW are willing to give Sting his big moment or if they would want to wait.
