However, we start off with a Battle Royal for the AEW Winter is Coming results and grades piece. The winners of this match would face off for the Dynamite Diamond Ring next week.

Dynamite battle royal

The two final competitors in this match would meet for the Diamond Ring next week. This match had all the top stars of AEW with the likes of Miro, Hangman Page, Joey Janela, Sammy Guevara, Orange Cassidy, Marq Quen and MJF, to name a few.

Cassidy used some of his smarts as he wasn’t eliminated and he got rid of Wardlow to set up showdown against MJF next week.

MJF and Cassidy win

Grade B

Battle Royals can’t always get everything right since there is so much going on. MJF tried to play around with the Inner Circle, The Dark Order tried to save Page after inviting him to join them and Cassidy was being Cassidy.

Kazarian vs Jericho

Two wrestling greats in Chris Jericho and Frankie Kazarian, surprisingly, met for the first time ever.

The other Circle members tried to help Jericho out but there was massive confusion. MJF and Sammy Guevara almost fought but Jericho was just about able to get the win.

Le Champion got upset and told the Inner Circle they had a week to decide if they wanted to stay or break up.

Jericho beats Kazarian

Grade C

The match could have been a little better but Jericho’s problems with his gang is the real story.

MJF has been a problem since joining the team and it will be interesting to see what is next for them.

Baker in action

Leyla Hirsch was the opponent for Dr Britt Baker in her return to in-ring action.

Rebel was taken out by Hirsch during the match but this allowed Baker to take control of the match.

Baker got the win but Thunder Rosa hit the ring and attacked the Dr. The AEW referees and officials had to break them up.

Baker beats Hirsch

Grade B

Baker and Hirsch worked well as a pair but it was great seeing Rosa attacking Baker as another rivalry is set for AEW.

Sting is All Elite

Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin teamed up to face Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Jack Hobbs.

It was the team of Rhodes and Allin that got the win in the end but they were attacked. Dustin Rhodes tried to make a save, but Brian Cage attacked the pair too.

However, Sting made his AEW debut and came face to face with Arn Anderson. He seemed to nod in approval of Allin and the Rhodes and walked down the ramp.

Rhodes and Allin beat Hobbs and Stark

Grade B

Sting coming to AEW is huge. Sure he might not be in the best wrestling shape but he is The Icon and getting him here is incredible.

The match was great too but it will be interesting to see what they do with Sting.

Moxley vs Omega

Heel Kenny Omega took on Jon Moxley for the AEW World Title and this was going to be a great match.

There was this fun moment where both stars sat across each other and had a bit of a slapping/punching contest until one came out on top.

Omega, however, finally dethroned Moxley with the One-Winged Angel and bolted off with the title. He was then caught up by an interviewer and Dan Callis, in the parking lot, said that they would speak about this on Impact Wrestling.

Omega beats Moxley

Grade A

The match was just as good as people expected it to be but the Impact tease is something else. This could open the doors for a lot of talent to cross over and that could be incredible for both brands.
