Miro may already have Lance Archer as his next challenger for the AEW TNT title

This week’s AEW Dynamite saw Miro and Darby Allin go up against each other in a much-hyped encounter for the TNT title.

In a one-sided match, Miro, who wrestled under the name ‘Rusev’ during his time in WWE, completely overran Allin and won via his submission move, Game Over.

This was Miro’s first AEW belt since making his debut last year in September. But after the fight, the Bulgarian probably got a hint of what awaits him in the coming weeks.

After Miro won his title, Lance Archer made his way out and had a stare-down with the new champion. No confrontation occurred then but it will, for sure, in the future.

Archer has himself not won a meaningful title with his Men’s Cason Battle Royale win in 2020 being his biggest achievement.

Lance Archer vs Miro next for TNT title?

There is no doubt he will be eager to win the belt and get that spotlight on himself. After the match, Miro went to his Twitter account and put out a challenge to the AEW locker to try and take the belt from him.

To this, Archer reacted by saying that he doesn’t need to look too far away to find his next challenger, as he is already there to take his belt.

This encounter will undoubtedly happen in the coming weeks and the future of Miro’s AEW character can be defined by this- whether the promotion continues to put him across as a beast or if Archer prevails over him.

Another possible future feud could be between him and former tag team partner, Kip Sabian, whom he betrayed a few weeks ago to end their friendship on the show.

He is out with an injury right now but would surely want to get involved once he makes his return.
