Former WWE Superstar Keith Lee and Shane Strickland shares a glimpse of a new alliance at AEW Rampage

This week’s AEW Rampage saw Keith Lee take on Max Caster with the San Antonio crowd chanting ‘Bask in Glory’ for Keith Lee. The match was interrupted by a lot of stars but what happened, in the end, might form some questions among the fans.

The match started with Caster attacking The Limitless One with an uppercut and a dropkick, but that didn’t bring Lee down. However, Powerhouse Hobbs distracted Lee, which gave Caster the opening.

However, the match was pretty dominated. Lee used his size to his advantage. Caster did fight back, but it wasn’t enough to down the big man. Lee quickly took him down with Big Catastrophe for the win.

Post the match, Hobbs and Lee and Starksm Caster and Anthony joined in to attack the former WWE star. But Shane’ Swerve’ Strickland came to the rescue of Keith. They also shared a handshake which might make one think this might be a new alliance on AEW.

“There is a multitude of you in this building who have seen me come from absolutely nothing. As the internet knows, one of my favorite words in ‘plethora’. I would also like to say that there is a plethora of you who, in the past two years, have seen me go from the top of the world to a question mark. My thanks goes to each and every one of you for being there, regardless 0f the scenario. I’m not done yet; and my thanks goes to Swerve for coming down here because I can barely breathe, I got my ass kicked with a boombox, and my man came in with the chair.

Swerve also mentioned to wrap up the post-show segment,

“I ain’t got much else to say but, uh, I need y’all to say it with me. So San Antonio, one good time. Whose house?!” The crowd responded with a loud ‘Swerve’s house!’ “I love you too,”
