AEW Dynamite results and grades: AEW Dynamite had a huge title match with Jon Moxley defending the gold against Darby Allin.

The promotion had also shared some of the other clashes on show tonight with a debate also garnering a lot of attention.

Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood made their AEW debut

However, we start this week’s AEW Dynamite results and grades piece with a huge tag team match.

FTR & the Elite vs Dark Order

The Young Bucks, Hangman Page, Kenny Omega and FTR teamed up to face Brodie Lee’s faction in a huge 12-man tag.

Dax Harwood picked up an injury during the match and was helped back by Page and Cash Wheeler. That left the face team to be outnumbered. However, Page did return for his team but it wasn’t enough to get them the win.

Dark Order wins

Grade A

This was an excellent match with all 12 men having a role to play. Harwood and Wheeler going back due to the injury was smart booking and it will be interesting to see if Page and Omega can stick around as the tag champs for long.

Best Friends vs Santana and Ortiz

Santana and Ortiz took on Trent and Chuck Taylor as both teams tried to get an important win in the tag division.

Both sides had moments where they were in control of the match and it seemed that Ortiz and Santana were good for the win.

However, Taylor and Trent avoided a finisher and got the roll up for the win.

Best Friends beat Santana and Ortiz

Grade B

This was another fantastic match by the Best Friends. They are certainly one of the best tag teams in AEW and it will be interesting to see if they are in the championship picture anytime soon.

Guevara draws blood

Matt Hardy cut a promo where he spoke about problems with Sammy Guevara. However, Guevara tried to do a sneak attack on Hardy but was caught out.

Nevertheless, Guevara was able to get one over Hardy as he busted the former WWE star open with a steel chair.

He then drove Hardy through a table and left him a bloody mess.

Grade B

Guevara and Hardy might turn out to be an excellent clash where we get to see Guevara at his best.

Hardy knows how to put others over and it will be interesting to see how things develop between the pair.

Cody Rhodes and Matt Cardona team up

Cody Rhodes teamed up with Matt Cardona to face John Silver and Alex Reynolds of the Dark Order.

Cardona and Rhodes worked well as a team and it were the face pair that picked up the win.

Cody and Cardona beat Silver and Reynolds

Grade B

This was just a debut match for new signing Cardona and this was a decent enough clash. The former WWE star should have more to highlight in the coming weeks but it did show that he is on the same page as Cody.

Cassidy vs Jericho

There was a surprise ahead of this debate between Orange Cassidy and Chris Jericho with Eric Bischoff coming out as the guest moderator.

Cassidy didn’t speak much as he was asked several questions but absolutely destroyed Jericho in the final question.

This led to Bischoff naming Cassidy as the winner but Jericho and Jake Hager attacked Orange. The Best Friends came out to make the save as Jericho and Hager ran away.

Grade A

Cassidy doesn’t speak a lot but when he does, it is gold. Jericho was perfect as the one-man show right until the end and bringing Bischoff back was another brilliant move just for this segment.

Swole vs Reba

Big Swole took on Reba (Rebel) as she wanted to get her hands on Britt Baker. However, Swole got an easy win over Rebel.

Swole beats Reba

Grade C

This was an easy win for Swole, despite Rebel having several matches under her belt. It will be interesting to see when Baker returns to action but Swole will be waiting.

Moxley vs Allin

Moxley started the match on fire by attacking Allin and even causing his rival to bleed from the mouth.

MJF and Wardlow almost cost Moxley the championship after he was hit by the belt.

However, Allin couldn’t take advantage of this situation despite hitting a coffin drop. Moxley hit a Paradigm shift for the win, but he wasn’t happy doing that.

Moxley beats Allin

Grade A

Moxley vs Allin was always going to be good and this certainly was a fantastic match. MJF interfering came hot on the heels of him calling the champion out last week, and it will be interesting to see what happens next between them.
