AEW Double or Nothing 2020 Results and Grades: The second AEW Double or Nothing PPV had some incredible matches to look forward to.

Nearly ever single belt was defended on the show and the main event was the first-ever Stadium Stampede match.

The Elite and Matt Hardy took on the Inner Circle, and this clash was as crazy as expected.

AEW Double or Nothing certainly had some high spots too and here are the results and grades from the PPV.

Tag contender’s match

Best Friends took on Private Party for a shot at the AEW tag team titles. Private Party also paid tribute to the late Shad Gaspard with a couple of moves, however, it were the Best Friends that picked up the win.

Best Friends beat Private Party

Grade B

This was a decent enough match though there were some missed spots from Private Party. Nevertheless, Best Friends deserve to be the No.1 contenders and it will be interesting to see how they do in the main battle.

Casino Ladder match

There was a surprise ninth entrant for the Casino Ladder match. Darby Allin. Colt Cabana, Orange Cassidy, Joey Janela, Scorpio Sky, Kip Sabian, Luchasaurus and Frankie Kazarian each entered the fray one at a time.

Brian Cage, former Impact Wrestling World Champion, was the surprise ninth member. It was Cage who won the chip and earned a future AEW World title shot.

Cage wins

Grade A

Each member had a great part to play in this clash and the winner was a surprise too. Cage came out as unbeatable star and it will be interesting to see how things go with him.

Jungle Boy vs MJF

MJF came out with Wardlow and was up against Jungle Boy. Both stars had some great spots in the match, but it was MJF who picked up the win with a modified pin in the end.

MJF beats Jungle Boy

Grade A

MJF and his opponent were excellent in their clash and both delivered big time. AEW has two of the best young talents in the wrestling world and they will provide a lot more fun and excitement in the coming months.

TNT Championship clash

Lance Archer and Cody Rhodes met for this clash with Mike Tyson presenting the belt to the winner in the end.

Arn Anderson and Jake the Snake Roberts tried to interfere in the match but both were dealt with. In the end, it was Cody who won the clash after two finishers on Archer.

Cody beats Archer

Grade B

Archer came into this clash looking like a dominant force, and the ending is a little questionable regarding that. The match was great between two seasoned stars and Cody winning the belt does ensure he has some gold in AEW.

Statlander vs Ford

Ford came out with Sabian providing her support from outside the ring. However, it was Kris Statlander that picked up the win after a hard-fought match.

Statlander beats Ford

Grade B

Ford was the star of the match as she did a lot more than people expected her to. However, Statlander’s stock keeps on rising in AEW and she should be involved in some big matches later on.

Dustin vs Spears

The other Rhodes came out to fight Shawn Spears. Spears was in a suit as he didn’t expected the “retired” Dustin to fight.

However, Dustin destroyed his rival and picked up the win, despite some funny moments.

Dustin beats Spears

Grade C

Spears had been on an up before this match and it was a little weird why it went the comedy way. Nevertheless, Spears getting a beating was required and all the more better that it was Dustin that gave it to him.

AEW Women’s title match

Nyla Rose came into this clash with revenge on her mind after being put through a table by her rival, Hikaru Shida, on Wednesday.

However, in this No DQ match it was Shida that won and picked up the belt thanks to the use of a lot of weapons.

Shida beats Rose

Grade A

Shida might not have been able to beat Rose in a normal match. However, she made the best use of the No DQ stipulations and used a kendo stick to her advantage regularly.

AEW World title match

Jon Moxley faced Brodie Lee as he defended his AEW title. The Exalted One had stolen Moxley’s title and was certain of winning the clash. Lee was left with a bloodied face as Moxley ended up winning the clash thanks to a choke.

Moxley beats Lee

Grade A

Another great match on the card as Lee and Moxley went the distance. Lee didn’t tap out and the referee was the one that made the call to stop the match. Lee should be back for another crack while Moxley looks stronger than ever.

Stadium Stampede match

This was absurdity but in a positive way. Words would not be able to describe what all took place in the match with mascots getting attacked, people being drowned in pools and Sammy Guevara being chased by Adam Page on a horse.

AEW took the madness to another level as the Elite were able to beat the Inner Circle, but this match had so many funny spots.

Elite beats Inner Circle

Grade A

Madness and fun are what took place in this match and it will be interesting to see what happens next between the factions.

This clash might divide the fans due to the absurd nature of some spots, but it was entertaining and that is what we all want.
