4. AOP reveals
The Authors of Pain left WWE in September 2020 because they wanted to prioritize their families over wrestling during COVID-19. They recently got interviews by Renee Paquette at The Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette, where they said that before their WWE release, they rejected a creative idea as they were not comfortable going it.
Last month they did an interview with Ango where they revealed more about their release,
“So basically… we departed from the company, it was nothing negative about it,” Akam started out. “It was at a time when COVID had just started, we were in a pretty big storyline at the time. What happened was we couldn’t travel anymore. COVID was very strong, we were asked to do something, like go back, but we opted out of it. We didn’t feel comfortable doing it.
Rezar suffered a bicep injury that has kept him on the shelf ever since. They were a duo with great looks and potential, but it went unrealized for most of their run on the main roster.
5. More update on Klaus
According to Fightful, before WWE settled on the new name of Ludwig Kaiser for Marcel Barthel, they were initially going to choose the name, Ludwig Klaus.
