Conor McGregor was speaking to Megan Olivi ahead of UFC 246 and named Bruce Lee as one of his inspirations

The Notorious Conor McGregor will return to MMA action at UFC 246 against Donald Cerrone and gave an interesting byte about Bruce Lee.

The Irishman has been away from the Octagon since his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov but is ready for a tough fight.

McGregor and Cerrone exchanged niceties at the recent press conference, but we got a deeper look into the Irishman during an interview by Megan Olivi.

The Irishman spoke on a range of topics such as the fight of 2019 or how the relationship with his children and family is now.

The former champion was also asked by Olivi is he keeps track of his opponents and what all they do in the ring:

“You always analyse the game,” said a confident-looking McGregor.

“You always analyse the skill sets more than anything else. But the fighters should always analyse the in-octagon activities.”

McGregor then claimed that he did a bit of what Bruce Lee did when facing opponents

“That’s what I analyse very closely, add and subtract, Bruce Lee style. Add when its useful, subtract when its not.”

Something new on the cards from McGregor?

Olivi then asked if we would see something different and unique, and McGregor confirmed he is working on something new:

“I’m certainly fighting a little different, a lot more centred and structured.”

McGregor claimed that Saturday will be different and it will be interesting to see how he does against the Cowboy.

The Irishman is still one of the top talents in the UFC and was open to fighting again in March.
