The Miz did not have a great time after being stripped on WWE SmackDown
WWE SmackDown was building up to Clash of Champions and they had a huge Samoan Street Fight as the main event.
Roman Reigns has been an incredible draw since turning heel and winning the Universal title. However, he faces his cousin, Jey Uso, at Clash of Champions. The pair teamed up for the Street Fight and while that was a decent enough watch, there were some segments that just didn’t work.
Misses
1) Strip and sue
WWE went a little cold with Otis after he won the Money in the Bank title. They have decided to focus on him and his rivalry with the Miz started off well but it went downhill on this week’s SmackDown.
Miz was stripped by Otis in the opening segment felt embarrassed at the situation. Now, he was wearing his inner-wear, which isn’t all that different from his in-ring gear.
Nevertheless, Miz was so embarrassed and hurt, he decided to press charges against Otis and sent him a legal notice.
This made little to no sense and well, the less said about this the better.
2) A moment that missed
Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross had the chance to speak on a lot of topics such as Bliss joining up with The Fiend or something like that.
However, they didn’t clear anything up and instead saw Lacey Evans start a fight with the pair. There was one aspect of this that really worked but overall, this was a disappointing segment.
Hits
1) Bliss in a trance
The segment that worked from A Moment of Bliss saw Bliss turn into a catatonic state after Evans mentioned the Fiend.
She hit Evans with a Sister Abigail and then walked off not knowing what is going on. This continued till the end of the show and after that too. Bliss is inching closer to becoming another member of Bray Wyatt’s cult but just when is this going to happen?
2) Bayley hits the spot
Bayley was back on SmackDown after her attack on Sasha Banks. However, she hit out at her former friend again.
Banks cut an emotional promo while wearing a neck-brace but her former friend took her out. She used a steel chair this time and laid Banks out.
This rivalry has become more interesting with each week since Bayley turned heel, and she is doing a great job again.
