The Power Rankings ahead of the 2021 NFL season’s week 3 are here

With the NFL into its third week, this is how the NFL 2021 Power Rankings stand ahead of GW 3.

32) Atlanta Falcons (0-2)

The Atlanta Falcons got off to a disastrous start in their own backyard against the Philadelphia Eagles, losing 6-32.

All plans of a comeback were foiled in the next match, after they once again went down in a high-scoring contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 48-25.

They will be taking on the New York Giants next.

31) New York Jets (0-2)

The New York Jets began their campaign with a 19-14 loss against the Carolina Panthers on the 12th of September.

In the second game, they were hammered at their own home by the New England Patriots, 6-25.

The Denver Broncos await them next.

30) Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2)

The Jacksonville Jaguars lost a high-scoring contest against the Houston Texans in their opening game. The match ended 37-21 in favour of the Texans.

Back at their home, they lost the second match as well, against the Denver Broncos. The final scoreline read 13-23.

The Jaguars take on the Arizona Cardinals next.

29) New York Giants (0-2)

The New York Giants started off poorly in their opening game, going down to the Denver Broncos, 13-27.

In the next game, they came agonizingly close to defeating the Washington Football Team in a match that ended, 30-29.

They will be taking on the Atlanta Falcons in their third game

28) Detroit Lions (0-2)

The Detroit Lions have lost two high-scoring contests. The first one they went down to the San Francisco 49ers, 33-41.

Their second loss was against the Green Bay Packers. The match ended 35-17 in favour of the Packers.

The Lions will face the Baltimore Ravens next.

27) Indianapolis Colts (0-2)

The Indianapolis Colts have struggled in their own backyard. They lost 16-28 to the Seattle Seahawks in their opening game.

They almost came close to defeating the Los Angeles Rams, but ended up losing 27-24.

The Colts will be visiting the Tennessee Titans next.

26) Minnesota Vikings (0-2)

Probably the unluckiest team in the 2021 NFL season so far. The Vikings lost a close battle against the Cincinnati Bengals, after the match went to overtime.

The final score read 27-24 in favour of the Bengals after overtime.

The next contest was even closer. The Vikings went down fighting to the Arizona Cardinals, with the final score reading 34-33.

Vikings vs Seattle Seahawks is up next.

25) Green Bay Packers (1-1)

The Green Bay Packers were steamrolled in their very first game of the 2021 NFL Season. While their opponents the New Orlean Saints made 38, the Packers were able to make just 3.

However, they bounced back with a victory over the Detroit Lions in game 2. The Packers scored 35 as opposed to Lions’ 17.

They will be taking on the San Francisco 49ers next.

24) Miami Dolphins (1-1)

The Miami Dolphins earned a close 16-17 win over the New England Patriots in their opening game.

However, they were handed a hideout against the Buffalo Bills in the second game. The Dolphins failed to score against the Bills in a 35-0 drubbing.

The Dolphins face the Las Vegas Raiders next.

23) Houston Texans (1-1)

The Houston Texans won their opening game convincingly against the Jacksonville Jaguars, 37-21.

However, they floundered in the second game, against the Cleveland Browns. The Browns won, 31-21.

The Texans will be going up against the Carolina Panthers in Gameweek 3.

22) Chicago Bears (1-1)

The Chicago Bears were battered by the Los Angeles Rams during Gameweek 1. They went down 34-14 against the team from Los Angeles.

The Bears bounced back with a close 20-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Gameweek 2.

The Cleveland Browns are up next for them.

21) Washington Football Team (1-1)

The Washington Football Team are coming off two close contests. The first one against the Los Angeles Chargers ended in a loss, 16-20.

The second one played out in the Washington Football Team’s favour. A narrow 30-29 win against the New York Giants.

The Buffalo Bills are up next.

20) Philadelphia Eagles (1-1)

The Philadelphia Eagles earned a thumping 6-32 win over the Atlanta Falcons in their opening game, but were defeated 11-17 by the San Francisco 49ers in the second.

They will be taking on the Dallas Cowboys next.

19) Cincinnati Bengals (1-1)

The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off two narrow contests. In the first one, they earned an overtime win over the Minnesota Vikings.

The second one saw them go down to the Chicago Bears, 20-17.

The Bengals face the Pittsburgh Steelers next.

18) Pittsburgh Steelers (1-1)

The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Buffalo Bills in their opening game, 16-23, but were beaten by the Las Vegas Raiders (17-26) in the next.

They will be taking on the Cincinnati Bengals next.

17) New Orleans Saints (1-1)

The New Orleans Saints have been at both the giving and receiving end of a drubbing. In the first match they earned a thumping 38-3 win over the Green Bay Packers. However, they went down to the Carolina Panthers, 26-7 in the next.

The Saints face the New England Patriots next.

16) Tennessee Titans (1-1)

The Titans suffered a brutal 13-38 loss against the Arizona Cardinals in their opening gameweek.

However, they bounced back with an overtime win over the Seattle Seahawks.

The Indianapolis Colts will be visiting the Titans next.

15) New England Patriots (1-1)

After going down narrowly to the Miami Dolphins (16-17) in their first match, the Patriots pulverized the New York Jets, 6-25, in the second gameweek.

The Patriots will be taking on the New Orleans Saints next.

14) Los Angeles Chargers (1-1)

The Los Angeles Chargers beat the Washington Football Team, 16-20 in the first game before being closely defeated by the Dallas Cowboys in the next.

The Kansas City Chiefs await the Chargers next.

13) Dallas Cowboys (1-1)

The Dallas Cowboys took on the defending champions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their opening game. They went down 31-29.

The Cowboys then came back stronger with a 17-20 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

They will be facing the Philadelphia Eagles next.

12) Seattle Seahawks (1-1)

After beating the Indianapolis Colts (16-28), the Seahawks fell short in a close high-scoring thriller against the Tennessee Titans.

The Seahawks visit the Minnesota Vikings next.

11) Cleveland Browns (1-1)

The Cleveland Browns lost their first match against the Kansas City Chiefs, 33-29 but bounced back with a 31-21 win over the Houston Texans.

The Chicago Bears await them next.

10) Baltimore Ravens (1-1)

The Baltimore Ravens sadly lost their opening game to the Las Vegas Raiders in overtime. The match ended 33-27 in the Raiders favour.

The second match saw them pick up a close 36-35 win against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Ravens face the Detroit Lions next.

9) Kansas City Chiefs (1-1)

The Chiefs won their first battle against the Cleveland Browns, 33-29 before losing to the Baltimore Ravens by a whisker, 36-35.

The Chiefs will be taking on the Los Angeles Chargers Next.

8) Buffalo Bills (1-1)

After going down 16-23 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Buffalo Bills blanked the Miami Dolphins 35-0 in the next.

The Bills take on the Washington Football Team next.

7) Las Vegas Raiders (2-0)

The Las Vegas Raiders are coming off an OT win over the Baltimore Ravens and a 17-26 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Raiders will take on the Miami Dolphins next.

6) Carolina Panthers (2-0)

The Carolina Panthers earned a 19-14 win over the New York Jets in their opening game of the 2021 NFL season.

They followed it up with a 26-7 win over the New Orleans Saints.

The Panthers face the Houston Texans next.

5) San Francisco 49ers (2-0)

The 49ers prevailed in a high-scoring contest against the Detroit Lions in their opening game, 33-41.

They then secured an 11-17 win against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The 49ers take on the Packers in their third game.

4) Denver Broncos (2-0)

The Denver Broncos are coming off two similar wins over the New York Giants and Jacksonville Jaguars respectively.

The New York Jets are up next for them.

3) Arizona Cardinals (2-0)

The Arizona Cardinals earned a smashing 13-38 win in their first game against the Tennessee Titans, and went on to beat the Minnesota Vikings, 34-33 in the second game.

Cardinals take on the Jacksonville Jaguars next.

2) Los Angeles Rams (2-0)

The Rams beat the Chicago Bears 34-14 in the opening game before earning a close win over the Indianapolis Colts in the next.

They take on Tampa Bay Buccaneers next.

1) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-0)

They have been playing how champions should be playing. After a close win over the Dallas Cowboys, the Buccaneers thrashed the Falcons, 48-25 in Gameweek 2.

The champions will be taking on the undefeated LA Rams next. Someone will be losing their 0.
