The puzzle quests in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be tricky. You need to use your skills to solve all puzzles. Wind Temple is a Dungeon that’s located above the skies. Link has to activate 5 Locks by solving some puzzles. You need to solve puzzles, then defeat the Wind Temple boss, Colgera, and finally, you can get your hands on all treasure chests in the Wind Temple dungeon.

This quest comes under Tulin’s Main quest. You need to get weapons, armor sets, and meals before entering the Wind Temple dungeon. Get to the grate and activate it. You won’t be able to move it. Tulin tasks you with activating all five locks and you can also use his skill. You need to find and activate 5 Locks that can be found on the map. Locks can be found at different levels. Here’s the guide to activating all five locks.
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Wind Temple Quest Walkthrough
In the Wind Temple dungeon, you need to help Tulin to activate all locks. These five locks are on different levels. Activate all five locks and you can also unlock all treasure chest rewards while completing each task.
1F
Get to the travel point. Find the stairs and proceed further to find the locked gates. You need to find the lever and pull it to get access to the room. Look for the icicles and utilize the Ultrahand skills to attach and open them. Then scan nearby portals and then you can use Tulin’s gust skills to open the gate and activate the first lock.
B1
Get to the northernmost part of the previous location. Find the roof and walk further to find the laser. The laser zone will be locked. Use Ultrahand skills and activate the portal to get access inside. Go towards the northern part of the travel point. Glide above and then get to the next room near a fan to reach the room. Use Tulin’s ability again to activate the next lock.
B2
Next, you can get to the B2 level in the dungeon. Use a glider to reach the entrance point and then take a boat. Go underneath the temple and then you can go through ships to get to the next area. There will be a couple of enemies, use your weapons to kill them. Then finally you will reach the next room containing the lock. Activate it and get to the final 2 spots.
B1
Get to the left wing zone. Find the corridors by using the staircase. Go towards the right side of the corridor. Proceed further and find the locked room. Get to the second level of the room and you should be finding the way to reach the next lock.
1F
You can use a ladder that was available at the B1 level. Walk further to find the Corridor. Find the glowing beams. Go towards the opposite side till you reach the room. Now get to the broken platform. You need to form a propeller using Ultrahand skills using stones. Now, you get access to the next room. There will be soldier construct in this zone. Beat them and then enter inside to activate the next and final lock.
That’s how you can activate all locks in the Wind Temple dungeon.
Wind Temple Treasure Chests
You will also find all treasure chests inside every level. Here’s what you will get from these treasure chests in the Wind Temple dungeon,
- In 1F, you can find the treasure chest closer to the lever. You need to use Ultrahand skills to gain access to the chest room. Here, you can unlock an Opal
- Again in 1F level, get to the zone where you found laser glowing beams. This treasure chest rewards you with a Ruby.
- You will spot broken discs on the floor of 1F. Use Ultrahand skills to move the discs and you will spot another treasure chest that contains a Captain I Reaper.
- In B1, use Ultrahand abilities and then pull icicles to unlock the chest. B1 chest contains a Sapphire. You can also get a Large Zonaite on the floating island chest
- Another B1 Chest contains a Soldier Blade. You need to equip a glider in grate houses where there’s also a ledge to unlock this treasure chest.
That’s how you can activate all 5 locks in the Wind Temple dungeon quest of Tears of the Kingdom. Once you activate all locks, return to the portal area and activate it. Then, the Wind Temple Colgera boss spawns from the grate. Make sure to defeat the Wind Temple boss to complete the entire Tulin of Rito Village Main Quest and grab some new rewards.
