However, we start with this WWE NXT results and grades piece with a tag team clash.

No.1 contender slot

Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish took on Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch to get a title shot against Breezango.

Both teams put on quite a show but it was the team of Fish and Strong that got the win.

Strong and Fish beat Burch and Lorcan

Grade B

It will be interesting to see who comes out on top as the UE face Breezango. The match was a great one too as NXT kicked off with a bang.

Atlas in action

Ember Moon spoke about returning to NXT and willing to take on all comers.

The next match saw Ashante “Thee” Adonis face Jake Atlas. It was Atlas that picked up the win after Raul Mendoza and Joaquin interfered Adonis.

Atlas made the save before Santos Escobar also came out and Isaiah Scott came out to stop the beating.

Atlas beats Adonis

Grade C

The match between Atlas and Adonis wasn’t all that great while Ember’s promo didn’t really leave a mark.

Scott vs Escobar seems set for another show and we could see the title change hands then.

Gargano vs Theory

Johnny Gargano took on Austin Theory as he was keeping an eye on Lumis vs Priest.

The pair put on quite a show with Gargano finally getting the win after evading a couple of hits.

Gargano beats Theory

Grade B

Theory looked amazing in the clash and hopefully, he continues getting chances to shine like this. Gargano getting the win was expected, especially as he had plans to win the North American title again.

Women’s No.1 contender clash

Shotzi Blackheart took on Candice LeRae for a crack at Io Shirai’s NXT title. Blackheart came out like a house on fire and got the better of LeRae in several moments.

However, the seasoned pro also took out Blackheart several times and needed Indi Hartwell helped LeRae out with the brass knuckles for the win.

LeRae beats Blackheart

Grade A

This was another stellar contest between a rising star and the veteran in LeRae. Hartwell interfering is also an interesting take in all this.

Storming through

Storm took on Aliyah, who had Robert Stone by her side. However, Storm picked up an easy win in the end.

William Regal confirmed that Halloween Havoc would see Rhea Ripley vs Raquel Gonzalez while he also considered Xia Li’s request for a match.

Storm beats Aliyah

Grade C

This wasn’t the greatest match for Storm but she made a winning return. Ripley vs Gonzalez was expected too and it will be interesting to see what is next for Li.

Dain and Maverick strike, again

Drake Maverick and Killian Dain teamed up to face Imperium next. Dain was in no mood for his tag team music too and wanted to take on Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner.

However, the pair wore him down before Maverick was brought in. Imperium picked up the win with Ever-Rise then taunting Maverick before Dain attacked the pair.

Imperium beats Dain and Maverick

Grade B

The team of Maverick and Dain seem to be clicking and it was fun to see Dain tell no one but he can attack Maverick.

North American title clash

Cameron Grimes had a role to play in this clash as Lumis and Priest put on a show.

The Technical Savage interfered to allow Priest to pick up the win, however, Priest then attacked Grimes for getting involved.

Gargano then came out to attack Priest with a chair as Regal confirmed LeRae and Gargano would get title shots.

Blackheart then came out and said the stipulations for the match would be finalised by spinning a wheel.

Priest beats Lumis

Grade B

Priest getting the win wasn’t a surprise as the rising star has been incredible as the champion.

Halloween Havoc should be a great clash too, and it will be interesting to see how things develop in the coming days.
