WWE NXT Preview: Cole responds to Balor, Ripley wants to fight Kai
WWE NXT Preview: The major talking point of the latest NXT episode is what will Adam Cole do after Finn Balor Pele kicked him in the previous episode.
The NXT champion has a target on his back, and Balor hasn’t really sided with anybody since returning to the brand.
NXT also has some other feuds to look into and here is what’s in store in the latest show (h/t WWE).
Two titans fight
NXT WarGames saw Damien Priest, Pete Dunne and Killian Dane fight for a shot at Cole’s gold.
It was Dunne who came out on top in this clash, but the others are set to face off in what should be an amazing clash.
Priest and Dane are capable of tearing the house down, and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top in this clash.
Payback time for Ripley?
WarGames had one major shocking moment when Dakota Kai turned on her teammate and attacked Tegan Nox.
That severely hampered Rhea Ripley’s team in the clash as they were down two wrestlers. However, the team, somehow, pulled through and beat the odds to win the WarGames clash.
Ripley had to come to Candice LaRae’s help when Kai wanted to take her out. The Nightmare will be back in action in the upcoming NXT episode and will face Kai in another huge encounter.
Cole against Balor?
Last week’s NXT saw a mega match between Tommaso Ciampa and Finn Balor.
The leader of the Undisputed Era helped Balor beat the Blackheart, however, the Prince was in no mood of joining the faction it seems.
Balor laid Cole with a Pele kick and it will be interesting to see how Cole responds to this attack.
The Prince has helped Cole’s side on a few occasions since returning to NXT. However, could this be a move for the NXT championship by Balor?
Cruiserweight brawl
Lio Rush has been at his best since returning to in-ring action and not acting like a manager.
The NXT Cruiserweight champion has been involved in some great bouts and is in a simmering rivalry too.
Angel Garza and Rush have been involved in mini scraps for a few weeks. From targeting Rush’s wife to Garza getting knocked out, the attacks have been flying between the pair.
This should be a great battle between two quality cruiserweights and there could be more on the line should Garza pick up the win.
