During a recent WWE live event, WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns took some lighthearted shots at the DC Extended Universe. They said the Aquaman film would have made more money with him in it instead of Jason Mamoa.

This moment was witnessed on TikTok, which showed Reigns taking part in a six-man tag team match. When not tagged in, a fan yelled that he loved Reigns in Aquaman, which was a clear shot that The Tribal Chief and Actor Jason Mamoa look quite similar.

Reigns waited for a moment and turned around to jokingly reply that “it would’ve made more money if I was in it too,” making a dig at the movie to which the crowd laughed.

Roman Reigns have got his hands on the Hollywood

Though Reigns doesn’t have the acting resume to Mamoa since the latter is a senior counterpart. However, this is not to forget that Reigns is no stranger to the world of Hollywood.

The Tribal Chief featured in 2019’s Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, alongside his cousin and WWE legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

And not only that, Reigns has been a part of various TV series and lent his voice to a variety of roles, including 2021’s Rumble, which got released on Paramount+.

He has also acted in Cousins for life and Netflix movie The Wrong Missy last year, even though he was suffering from Leukemia. The Tribal Chief is arguably one of the biggest names in the industry in recent times and has grown at a swift pace.

At WWE Day 1 event, Reigns is set to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship, and this year, he has broken the record for highest merchandise sales, which gives you an idea that the movie might have earned more having Reigns in it.
