According to PW Insider, Hardy was competing in a tag match, left the ring during the game, and disappeared into the crowd, failing to return. But, unfortunately, it was not the end. He didn’t even compete on WWE’s live show the next night as well.

Hardy’s release was first reported by fightful.com with Sean Ross Sapp and mentioned that he had been offered help and rehab as well, which he didn’t accept. It was also confirmed by Matt Hardy that he has spoken to Jeff about the incident and now he is fine and is at home now.

The Hardy Boyz made their return to WWE at WrestleMania 33 as the surprise entrants in the ladder match for the RAW Tag Team Championship. It was Matt’s first appearance since 2010 and Jeff’s first since 2009.

Jeff made his first appearance against Razor Ramon on May 23, 1994, with the ring name Keith Davis. The stable of Hardy brothers mainly gained notoriety in the tag-team division due to their participation in Tables, Ladders and Chairs matches. They added Lita to their team and became known as Team Xtreme.

Hardy and Matt won twenty-one championship titles, inkling WWE Tag Team Championships. Jeff also won the WWE Championship titles and World Heavyweight Championship twice. He is also the winner of the 5-time Intercontinental title, 3-time Hardcore Championship, and United States Championship.
