WWE Superstar The Miz taunts Edge after the attack on RAW
Monday Night Raw saw WWE Superstar Edge hosting Miz’s wife Maryse after last week’s slapping incident. At first, faked tears while claiming that her husband was selfish when he pulled her in front of Edge on Raw the previous week.
Edge said that no one was buying her story of issues with The Miz when suddenly, out of nowhere, Miz attacked Edge from behind. Rated R Superstar somehow got away from the attack but eventually got slapped from Maryse, which caused a distraction for Miz to hit Edge with the Skull-Crushing Finale.
In the end, it was quite clear that the whole thing was a setup from Miz and Maryse.
Former WWE Champion The Miz makes some bold statements on Edge
The Mizanian and Maryse later appeared on the Raw Talk and made bold statements about The Rated R Superstar.
Miz was quoted saying,
“How about the fact that Edge was laying flat on the mat two times. Do you think that old Edge would have felt for that? If we have planned this all out right! While pointing towards Maryse, he said, “Do You really think I am a narcissist, and I never listen to whatever she says!
After some comments from Maryse about how obnoxious she felt about his husband. Miz was quoted saying that,
We will see you maybe next week, maybe on Day 1. Who cares because nobody cares about seeing you. All they care about is seeing this face, Us.
Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge will face former WWE Champion Miz at WWE Day 1. After today’s incident, it is pretty clear that The Rated R Superstar will be looking for an act of revenge, and you never know to counter Maryse. We might see Edge’s wife WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix as well in the ring sometime.
