Vince McMahon is rumoured to take part in a match at WrestleMania 38
A new report has indicated that WWE Chairmen and CEO Vince McMahon is getting ready to return at some in-ring action at WrestleMania 38.
There had been several rumours regarding Vince’s return to a possible match. Still, now John Pollock of POST Wrestling has reported that Vince is scheduled to begin a program with Pat McAfee soon, and the feud will include a WrestleMania 38 match-up. It has been noted from multiple sources that McAfee and McMahon are planning to do something at WrestleMania 38.
It has been revealed from a source who was asked if McMahon and McAfee will be performing an official match on WrestleMania 38 card that the response came as most likely.
This report on Vince returning came after it was reported that McAfee was scheduled for a WrestleMania 38 feud. WWE announced that McMahon will appear this Thursday for an interview on The Pat McAfee Show, which mainly streams on Youtube and SiriusXM. It is now quite evident that McMahon vs McAfee will start on Pat’s show.
Vince McMahon has been out of in-ring action for a long time
McMahon is 76 years old and has been out of in-ring action for a long time. However, he wrestled an actual match back in No Holds Barred Lumberjack Match against WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart at WrestleMania 26 in 2010.
He had some short stints with CM Punk on October 8, 2012, in an episode on RAW. However, he has received physical punishment such as headbutts, strikes and Frogsplash from Kevin Owens on SmackDown.
However, if we talk about McAfee, he began working as a guest commentator and analyst for WWE NXT events in 2018. McAfee even had a feud with Adam Cole in 2020, which led to his in-ring debut at the “Takeover XXX event, where he lost against Cold.
