Wrestling world reacts as Mickie James posts photo of getting WWE stuff back in a trash bag

Mickie James is one of the biggest female wrestlers in the 21st century to have fought in the WWE. Earlier this month, she was let go by the company.

The exodus, which included 9 other superstars, was done after WWE cited financial troubles as a reason. As if that wasn’t bad, wait till you see what Mickie James had to post.

‘Hardcore Country’ posted a photo of a trash bag which had her WWE belongings in it. She then tagged Vince McMahon, making the following sarcastic comments:

“Dear @VinceMcMahon Im not sure if you’re aware, I did receive my @WWE care package today. Thank you. #AlwaysBlessedandGrateful#WomensWrestlingMatters[Lips emoji]”

Oof… that’s not only a massive amount of disrespect, but some really, really bad PR for WWE. Some damage control was later attempted but it is probably too late for that.

And it turned out that James wasn’t the only one to have her belongings delivered in a shameful manner like this.

Other stars, such as Maria Kanellis and Gail Kim, revealed that they too have been victims of this act of disrespect.

Reactions soon followed from other former WWE personalities, with Dave LaGreca, Chris Jericho, and Erick Rowan shared their thoughts on the matter.

Triple H later issued an apology alongside Stephanie McMahon as the pair revealed that the person dealing with this matter had been fired from the company.

That’s too little too late. Small gestures like this really goes on to show the lack of respect that is ingrained in the promotion towards its female fighters.
