Drew McIntyre accepts challenge from Alex Hannah for the Special Olympics

Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre accepted a challenge from Special Olympics Athlete Alex Hannah to jump rope for 30 seconds.

The Scottish Warrior shared a video on his Instagram profile in which Hannah challenged him to complete the 30-second jump-rope challenge.

Accepting the challenge, McIntyre went on to complete it and along with Hannah opened the platform for his followers to take part in the challenge and post videos on Instagram.

McIntyre, during his time as the WWE Champion, worked with the Special Olympics to help launch the “Special Olympics School of Strength” in China.

The WWE Superstar led a brand-new workout to help keep athletes fit and healthy while at home during the pandemic, with WWE and Special Olympics launching the video ahead of the Royal Rumble earlier this year.

And it looks like McIntyre is continuing his association with the Special Olympics, by helping promote the challenge on Instagram along with Alex Hannah.

Drew McIntyre finally gets his WrestleMania shot

As for his in-ring prospects, The Scottish Warrior is set to spar with best friend turned foe Sheamus at WWE’s upcoming Pay-Per-View event, Fastlane 2021 on Sunday. Following that, McIntyre is penned in to battle with the current WWE Champion Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 37.

It was at last year’s Showcase of the Immortals that McIntyre was crowned the WWE Champion when he brutalised Brock Lesnar. And it will be interesting to see whether history repeats itself twelve months later.

Lashley has been excellent since becoming the champion. However, he might just face his match as a revitalised McIntyre looks to get his WWE title back.
