Lana played a role in Bobby Lashley losing to Drew McIntyre at WWE Backlash

The problems between Lana and Bobby Lashley resurfaced again at WWE Backlash.

Lashley was up against Drew McIntyre and his tactics seemed to be working. The All Mighty had locked McIntyre in a Full Nelson before the match started and seemed to have done a lot of damage.

Lashley was working under the guidance of MVP, and threw everything he had at the Scot. McIntyre kicked out of everything that Lashley had, even a spear, but Lashley was still on top.

It seemed that another spear would ensure that Lashley would become the new WWE Champion. However, Lana decided to come out and cause a distraction by climbing up on the apron. MVP could not believe what was happening as Lashley and Lana argued.

McIntyre took advantage of this as Lana ended up falling into MVP, and Lashley ate a Claymore kick. The Scot covered Lashley for the three count as MVP was left stumped as to what happened.

In an exclusive clip from the WWE Network, a dejected Lashley was walking back with MVP with Lana calling him out.

However, the All Mighty and MVP completely ignored Lana as the Russian kept chasing her husband.

Cracks appearing

MVP returning to WWE hasn’t been just a gimmick. He has transformed Lashley into a true beast and he could have won the WWE title at Backlash had it not been for Lana.

The Ravishing Russian has been upset over MVP’s statements regarding Lashley needing to concentrate on his wrestling.

The All Mighty has ignored Lana a lot in recent weeks, and that has gotten into the head of Lana. It will be interesting to see what is next for the pair, but Lashley will not be pleased with the outcome of Backlash.

MVP has unlocked Lashley’s potential after some weird storylines and hopefully, the All Mighty does get some gold around his waist.
